To The Family of Sister Magdalene Carroll,
Grace and peace be into you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
We the Pastor, Ministers, Officers and Members of the Nazarene Baptist Church of Nicetown, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, share our deepest and heartfelt sympathies to Sister Deborah Carroll-Booker and her family in the Homegoing of your beloved Mother and our fellow co-laborer in Christ, Sister Magdalene Carroll!!
Sister Carroll was a sweet, loving, kind woman of God, who loved the Lord and others, with her meek and quiet spirit! For a multiplicity of years, she served faithfully at Nazarene; Singing on the Davis Chorale, serving with the Senior Ushers/Ladies Auxiliary as well as being our first Church Business Manager! She also attended Sunday School (Secretary), VBS, and was active in the Widow and Widowers Ministry! We will miss her wonderful servant spirit as she served wherever she was needed!!
It is on this day, we stand with you in prayer, asking the Lord to comfort and give all of you, His peace, in your hour of mourning. For in times like these, what a joy to know that, the moment she closed her eyes, she had no more pain, nor suffering but she woke up safe and healed, in the arms of the Jesus! (John 5:24)
Revelation 14:13 says, “Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord, from henceforth: Yea saith the Spirit, that they rest from their labours and their works do follow them.” Sister Carroll lived a wonderfully blessed life and she was a blessing to many!!! She fought a good fight, she kept the faith and now she has finished her course and the Lord our God, will now bless her with her reward! And we say Well Done! You have been a good and faithful servant! His Blessings and Honor now belong to her.
To Sister Debbi and the family, the Apostle Peter says in 1 Peter 5:7 to Cast all your cares on the Lord, for He cares for you! Please know that in the days to come, we will be holding all of you up, in persistent passionate prayer!! May God Bless you and keep you in His tender loving care!
In the love of Jesus,
