To the Family of CELESTINE MUMFORD
We the Pastor, Officers and Members of the Nazarene Baptist Church extend our deepest and heartfelt sympathies to you and the family, in the Homegoing of your beloved and our faithful co-laborer in the Lord, Sister Celeste Mumford.
Sister Mumford was a loving and kind woman of God, who had a meek and quiet spirit!!! As a member of Nazarene, she humbly and faithfully served the Lord in ministry with all her heart until she encountered some challenges with her health!! We will miss our dear sister in Christ!!!
But today, we stand with you in prayer, beseeching the Lord’s comfort and peace in your hour of mourning. In times like these, what great consolation it is to know, that the moment she closed her eyes, she was safe in the arms of the Jesus! (John 5:24)
Revelation 14:13 says”… Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord, from henceforth: Yea saith the Spirit, that they rest from their labours and their works do follow them.”
Sister Mumford lived a blessed life!!! She fought a good fight, she kept the faith and now she has finished her course and the Lord our God, will now bless her with her reward! And we say Well Done! You have been a good and faithful servant! Blessings and Honor now belong to her!
To you Brother Essex and your family, the Psalmist says in Psalm 55:22, “Cast your burden on the Lord and he will sustain you.” Please know that in the days, weeks, months and years to come we will be holding all of you up in prayer!!
May God Bless you and keep you in His tender loving care!
Love In Christ,
