Remembering Rev. Dr. James L. Cherry

Nazarene Pastor 1971-1981

We the Pastor, Ministers, Officers and Members of the Nazarene Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, are saddened and mourn the homegoing of our beloved Pastor (1971-1981) The Rev. Dr. James L Cherry Sr. who graduated to glory !


We  praise and thank the Lord for Dr. Cherry !!! He was an awesome Pastor, Preacher, Teacher, Singer, Mentor and your best Friend!!

Dr. Cherry so loved people in his talk and his walk! What a joy and tremendous blessing he was to sinners and saints alike!!


We say, well  done thy good and faithful servant, Dr. Cherry ......

”You fought a good fight, you finished your course, you kept the faith and now you will reap your reward!“ 2 Timothy 4:6-8


We love you Pastor!! See you in the morning!!
